Israel: In Such a Time as This

July 5 - 16, 2024

The massacre on October 7th, 2023, changed Israel forever. So, we are inviting you to come with us to Israel and obey the command of Isaiah 40:1 -

“‘Comfort, comfort my people,’ says your God.”

While touring the land, our tour guide and other experts will share insights from Biblical and historical perspectives, firmly grounding us in God’s mandate “in such a time as this.”

Across the globe, there has been an alarming increase in antisemitism and an attempt to delegitimize Israel. To combat the many lies spreading in the media, on high school and college campuses, and in cities worldwide, we’ve created a tour that provides a unique experience:

  • Hearing about the reality on the ground,
  • Meeting survivors, volunteers, and soldiers (conditions permitting), and
  • Showing the people they are not alone.
Come and be inspired by the past, equipped for the present, and prepared for the future!

What to Expect

  • Our experienced Generation 2 generation leadership team, a hand-picked excellent Jewish tour guide, and worship leader Joshua Rushing will host the tour.
  • A multi-generational, family-friendly tour where all are welcome
  • Go to Hostage Square in Tel Aviv - the epicenter of the #BringThemHomeNow movement, featuring art installations and banners highlighting the plight of the hostages and calling for their release.
  • Visit genuine historical sites, experiencing the Bible as never before!
  • Meet people living in the land and interact with Israeli experts to gain insight into the aftermath of the horrible attacks on October 7th, including:
    • (Res.) Colonel Danny Tirza of the IDF Strategic Command
    • Charlotte Korchak of StandWithUs on the global rise of antisemitism
    • A Nova Festival survivor who shares her experience on that horrible day and about dealing with life following those tragic events
    • These are subject to change due to situational requirements.
  • Hear from members of Magen David Adom - Israel’s emergency services - as they recount their experiences as some of Hamas’ first targets.
  • See Masada (Herod’s desert fortress) and cool off in the natural pools at Ein Gedi.
  • Volunteer with Shevet Achim in Ashdod (examples of possible activities include):
    • Painting rooms for pre- and post-op pediatric cardiac patients
    • Taking children out to the park or beach “for a break” from their hospital rooms
    • Caring for mothers of children (all of whom come from nations such as Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Gaza)
  • To embrace the prophetic unfolding of the past, present, and future.
  • Your life will radically change; your understanding of God’s Word deepens as you touch His heart for the nation, and your love for His people will grow.
  • You will return home challenged to love Jesus more than you did before.
  • And much more!
We welcome Friday evening Shabbat in Jerusalem by experiencing Kabbalat Shabbat with our Jewish guide. We may also visit the Garden Tomb and the Temple Mount (conditions permitting), pray for the nation of Israel and her leaders at the Knesset Overview, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem at the Western Wall. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the political and spiritual climates in the region from a Biblical perspective.
