Bright House Networks modems require specific settings for customers who have static IP addresses, VPN connections between offices or connect to a UTM Router by Fortinet, SonicWall or Cisco ASA devices. For VirTech Systems customers the following settings are REQUIRED for proper functionality of your service. Static IP Address Customers: (Those customers who have paid for an IP address that never changes) Modem must be in "Bridged Mode" "Port-Scan Detection" must be "Disabled" If the modem supports "IPSEC," its settings must be ALLOWED if applicable for the VPN to function properly. NAT disabled Firewall needs to be completely disabled All modems use the same default login username and password; however, this might be changed by the service provider.
1.Open a Web Browser and type http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.100.1 in the URL address field. 2.You should see a Web User Interface page from the Ubee Gateway. 3.Click Login on the left, and you will see a popup window. 4.Enter the login information for the Subscriber Account: Login: user Password: user 5.A set of menu tabs should be displayed at the top of the screen. The menus on the side bar are context sensitive, and change based on the menu tab you select. IMPORTANT: If you are a customer in NYC, the Web UI has been disabled by your Service Provider for security reasons. Please contact your Service Provider for assistance.
