What to do when Arlo motion detection does not work
When Arlo motion detection does not work, you need to make sure that you have checked the following points:

? The position of the camera should be properly aligned to the spot where u want the surveillance.
? You have to turn on the ‘activate’ option.
? Make sure that you have heightened the sensitivity level.

If you are still unable to use the motion detector, call Arlo Support to get immediate assistance from qualified technicians.

Go into modes and make sure that the motion is detected box is checked. Also make sure that the notification boxes at the bottom of the page are checked. Don't forget to save.

Use the motion detection test under settings to see if the camera led flashes with movement.

If this does not work then remove the battery for a few seconds and then replace to reset the camera.

You could also remove and resync that camera and see if that works.
