QuickBooks File Doctor – Fix, Repair Damaged Company Files
QuickBooks is a roust accounting software that has made life simple for those who own small and mid-sized businesses. The software performs a host of complicated tasks such as tracking expenses, creating invoices, and preparing taxes. However, like all the other human-made tools, the robust software also receives some errors which may impact its user’s productivity.

To assist the users of the software, Intuit – the maker of QuickBooks, created another accommodating tool that’s called QuickBooks File Doctor (QBFD). This tool enables you to avert QuickBooks Company File issues before they turn out to be unrecoverable. QB File Doctor Tool, along with preventing the data damage, also resolves various QuickBooks Network Issues.

QuickBooks File Doctor is a program that allows you to troubleshoot on your own a QuickBooks Desktop for Windows file that has some problem that has made it impossible to open. The two main things I have used it to fix in the past are (a) network issues, where QuickBooks can’t open your file because there is some problem with network connectivity and (b) where the QuickBooks file itself has become corrupted and you can no longer even open the file to use the “Verify” and “Rebuild” utilities.

If you still can’t open your QuickBooks file after using the File Doctor, then you’ll need to contact Intuit customer support. They will ask you to send them the file, and will fix it for you. This isn’t free unless you have a support plan with them. Also, this can lead to other issues. The one time we had to escalate a problem this far, Intuit got us our file back in a couple of days. But, the file sort of acted strangely afterward until we upgraded to the next year’s edition.
