How to clear up undeposited funds in QuickBooks?

Your QuickBooks software has a ‘Clear Up Undeposited Funds Account’ tool that helps you link deposits to payments so that you can clear up the Undeposited Funds account. You can follow the step below to use the tool:
• Step 1: Open QuickBooks and go to the ‘Accountant’ menu.

Go to plus sign>bank deposit. You have a customer payment entered to that acct. but not deposited. You need to find the deposit (it is in there already somehow because you reconciled already) and update the deposit with the customer payment and remove the line item that is in there and was reconciled.
