How to Enter 1098-T in the TurboTax

Students who are paying the ‘qualified educational expenses’ should be handed over by a copy of Internal Revenue Service Form 1098-T by their institutions every year. It provides information about all the educational expenses that help in qualifying the student or their parents for education-related tax credits. In order to enter the form 1098-T in the TurboTax, you can either follow the below-mentioned steps or get in touch with expert professionals at the turbotax support number
and ask for further assistance.

Sign in to your TurboTax Online Account.
Choose to ‘Continue your return/take me to my return’ option.
Tap on ‘Federal Taxes’, then ‘Deductions & Credits.’
Now, click on ‘Check for more tax breaks’ and then on ‘Skip to all breaks.’
Finally, locate the section by titling it as ‘Education’ and click to ‘Show More.’
Now, click on the titles ‘Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T) and enter the desired information.

If you received a 1098-T and you weren't reimbursed by your employer, you can enter that info in the mobile app.

Open or continue your return.
Select the menu icon in the upper left.
Select Federal then Deductions & Credits.
Choose Education then Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T).
If you don’t see Education, select Check for more tax breaks and All tax breaks.
Follow the instructions to enter your expenses.
